Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
Step 1: Using a scale, weigh out your butters, waxes, and oils. Place 136 grams coconut oil, 113 grams avocado oil, 20 grams jojoba oil 74 grams cocoa butter deodorized, 62 grams mango butter, 50 grams silky emulsifying wax, and 12 grams beeswax in a pot.
Step 2: Use a double boiler to melt your waxes, oils, and butters on low heat. Use a spoon to stir occasionally. While your oils are melting, move on to the next step.
Step 3: Weigh out your sugars. You will need two mixing bowls. In one mixing bowl, weigh out 440 grams of brown sugar. Use your hands to break up any clumps in the sugar. In the second mixing bowl, weigh out 340 grams of white sugar. In this bowl also add the 10 grams of vanilla powder. You want make sure the vanilla powder is mixed evenly throughout the sugar.
Step 4: When the oils have melted, let the temperature drop to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, add 14 grams Vanilla Silk Fragrance Oil, 9 grams Cinnamon Type, 7 grams vitamin E oil, 11 grams of Optiphen preservative, and 23 grams vanilla white. Mix well.
Step 5: Now, separate your oil into to separate bowls. You will need about 250 grams of the oil in each bowl.
Step 6: Add 4 grams of titanium dioxide oil dispersible to the first bowl. Mix well to incorporate the titanium dioxide. Then, add the white sugar mixture you prepared earlier. Mix Well. Set aside, we will come back to this bowl when it cools to room temperature.
Step 7: In the second bowl we will be adding Apple Pie Spice Blend Powder. First, we will need to prepare it. In a small bowl, add 10 grams of the powder. Then, mix it with 26 grams vegetable glycerin. Mix to create a paste consistency. Lastly, add the brown sugar you weighed out earlier. Mix well.
Step 8: Once both of these bowls are at room temperature, begin layering your scrub. Spoon a layer of brown scrub into the 4 oz clear jars. Then, add a layer of the white scrub. Continue this process until each jar is filled. Finally, place a dome lid on each jar.
