Before you start, clean and sanitize your work area as well as all of your packaging materials. We also suggest wearing gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while creating this bath fizzy recipe. In addition, prepare your spray bottle, filling it with witch hazel.
Step 1: For this recipe, we will first need two mixing bowls. One of your bowls will be used for your dry ingredients. Then, the second bowl will be used to weigh out and mix your wet ingredients.
Step 2: First, it is time to prepare your dry ingredients. In a deep mixing bowl add your kaolin clay, SCI, and baking soda. Using your hands, mix the ingredients. As you mix, break up any clumps you find. Set this bowl aside while we prepare our wet ingredients.
Step 3: Now, in your second bowl, we will weigh out the wet ingredients. To this bowl, you will want to add the pumpkin seed oil, Vanilla White Fragrance Oil, and Autumn Wreath Type Fragrance Oil.
Step 4: Next, begin adding your wet ingredients to the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Then, mix everything together. Once again, you will need to use your hands to mix. You want to be sure the oils are evenly dispersed throughout the mixture.
Step 5: At this time, we will add the citric acid to the mixture. Then, use your hands to mix the ingredients together once more.
Step 6: Now, divide your bath bomb mixture in half. You will need to add a small amount of the pumpkin pie spice blend powder. So, to one half of the mixture, add 5 grams of pumpkin powder. To the other half, add 5 grams of the vanilla powder.
Step 7: At this time, we will begin spraying the mixture with witch hazel. Begin with the first bowl. Spray the mixture while mixing the contents with your hands. Keep mixing while spritzing until you have a crumbly dough-like consistency throughout all of the bath bomb dough. Do the same with the second bowl.
Step 8: Finally, add the bath bomb mixture into each of your bath bombs molds. You will want to make sure that the mixture is packed into the bath bomb mold tightly. Keep in mind each mold set will consist of two differently shaped parts. Fill one half with the mixture containing the pumpkin spice powder and the other half with the mixture containing the vanilla powder.
Step 9: Now, you will need two halves of your bath bomb molds. You will need one half that contains pumpkin powder and one half that contains the vanilla powder. Then, mist each half lightly with your witch hazel. Lastly, press the two halves together. Continue filling the remaining bath bomb molds and pressing them together.
Step 10: Once your bath bombs have setup, your bath bombs can stay in the mold, making packaging a breeze. Another option is to remove them from the molds and package them using another method.
Use one of your pumpkin bath bombs in the bathtub by simply placing it in your water.
