Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, a face mask, safety glasses, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
Step 1: Start preparing your lye solution. Pour lye into the distilled water and allow to cool to room temperature.
Step 2: Add palm oil and coconut oil 76 together and melt in a double boiler. Set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the soap frosting to pipe flowers. Once the soaping oils and the lye solution are room temperature, pour the lye solution into the oils. Use a stick blender to emulsify.
Step 4: Add tomato red colorant and mix with the stick blender. Then, add Suede and Peony Fragrance and mix with a spatula. Use an stick blender to continue mixing until a thin frosting like consistency is reached.
Step 5: Place a coupler in a piping bag and add the frosting. Attach the Russian piping tip. Place a sheet of parchment paper on the counter and pipe the flowers on parchment paper. If the soap is too thin, wait a few minutes and try again. Once all the desired flowers are made, set them aside.
Step 6: Allow your flowers to cure before using.
