Pecan Pie Wax Melts Recipe
Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need:
Pot (for double boiler)
Step 1: Prepare the Bases: Use a double boiler to melt 325 grams of Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax. Once melted add 3 drops of the yellow liquid candle dye and 4 drops brown candle dye. Then, add 32 grams of Granny’s Pecan Pie Fragrance Oil. Stir to incorporate the ingredients. Pour the wax into each cavity of the silicone mini muffin mold. Once setup, remove them from the mold and set them on a piece of wax paper. We will come back to it.
Step 2: Prepare the pecan embeds. Melt 50 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax using a double boiler. Then, use toothpicks to add a small amount of both brown and yellow candle dye. Finally, add 5 grams of the Granny’s Pecan Pie Fragrance Oil. Use a spoon to blend the ingredients together. Pour the wax into the pecan mold.
Step 3: Once the pecans have setup, remove them from the mold. Remelt your candle wax and once again, fill the pecan mold. When they have setup remove them from the mold. You will need a total of 12 pecans for this recipe.
Step 4: Now, prepare the chocolate drizzle. Weigh out 20 grams of Joy Wax. Melt the wax and add 2 grams of Granny’s Pecan Pie Fragrance Oil. Then, using toothpicks, add both black and brown liquid candle dye. Stir. Use a spoon to drizzle the melted wax over the bases you prepared in the first step.
Step 5: Next, prepare the whipped wax. Using a double boiler, melt 120 grams of Joy Wax. Then, add 12 grams of Granny’s Pecan Pie Fragrance Oil. Stir to incorporate the scent.
Step 6: Begin whipping your Joy Wax. You want to begin whipping the wax when it is just starting to setup. Once you have a whipped topping consistency, place a dollop on top of each cupcake base.
Step 7: Place a pecan embed on top of each wax melt.
Your Pecan Pie Wax Melts are ready to use once they have cured! Simply place a wax tart in your burner and allow the pecan aroma to fill the air!
