Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, a face mask, safety glasses, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
Prepare your embeds. You will need to make a total of 16 melt and pour embeds. Simply melt the clear melt and pour soap in your microwave. Then, add neon orange FUN Soap Colorant and blood orange fragrance oil. Finally, mix and pour the soap into the lemon/lime slices mold.
Spray the soap with rubbing alcohol to release air bubbles and let it setup.
Once the soap sets up, remove it from the mold. Then, spray each soap slice with rubbing alcohol and sprinkle them with sugar. You will need a total of 16 orange slices.
Weigh out and melt your soaping oils. In addition, prepare your lye solution. Add your sodium lactate to the cooled lye solution. Once your lye solution and oils are at room temperature, emulsify your soap batter.
Once you have emulsified your soap batter, add the fragrance oil and stick blend that batter.
Next, place 547 grams of the soap batter into a separate bowl, and then add 5 grams of Titanium Dioxide. To the remaining batter, add the Eye Poke Orange FUN Soap Colorant. Stick blend to completely incorporate.
Finally, pour dollops of the white soap in to orange batter main batter bowl. This will look very similar to a painters color palette.
Next, get your spatula, and swirl directly in the bowl. Then, pour the soap into the mold.
Place 16 orange slices on top. I found it easiest to add the slices to the 4 corners first. It helped keep them evenly spaced.
After 24-48 hours, you can remove the soap from the mold. Once you cut you cp soap, allow it to cure before using.
