Step 1: Prepare the buttermilk ice cubes. You will need 2 ounces of the powdered buttermilk. Then, add 16 ounces of warm water. Stir until the powder is dissolved. Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray. Freeze the milk.
Step 2: Weigh out and melt your oils. Allow them to come to room temperature.
Step 3: Prepare your titanium dioxide. In a small bowl, weigh out 3 grams of titanium dioxide, add a small amount of your oils. Mix.
Step 4: Next, we will prepare the lye solution. You will need the ice cubes that you prepared. Instead of using water, we will use the buttermilk ice. So, in a mixing bowl, add 409 grams of the buttermilk ice. Then, slowly add the lye. Mix until the lye is dissolved and ice has melted.
Step 5: Combine the lye solution with your soaping oils. Use a stick blender to emulsify. Then, add the essential oils. Stick blend to a light trace.
Step 6: Now, separate your soap batter. In a small bowl, add 2 ounces of the batter. To this batter, add the titanium dioxide. Stick blend to incorporate the colorant. Set this aside, for now.
Step 7: To the remaining batter, add 3 drops of the red soap colorant. Once again, stick blend to incorporate the colorant.
Step 8: Pour the pink soap batter into your mold. Place your mold in front of you vertically. To the right half, place rose petals.
Step 9: For this step, you will need the remaining white soap batter. It needs to be at a thick consistency. Place the white soap batter in your decorating bag with a round tip.
Step 10: Pipe circles to look like pearls down the left half of the loaf.
Step 11: After 48 hours, remove the soap from the mold. When ready, cut the soap. Allow them to further cure before using.
