Clean and sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
Step 1: Begin by weighing out your coconut oil 76, avocado oil, mango butter, shea butter, emulsifying wax, jojoba, and beeswax. Then, use a double boiler to melt them. Stir occasionally as they are melting.
Step 2: While you are waiting for ingredients to melt, you can prepare your colorant. Weigh out your lemon peel powder and vegetable glycerin in a small mixing bowl. Also, add 15 drops of lime green FUN Soap Colorant. Mix these ingredients together to create a paste. Set this aside, we will come back to it.
Step 3: Once your oils are melted, remove them from your double boiler. Allow the temperature of your melted mixture to drop to 120F and add the optiphen preservative, vitamin E oil, sodium cocoyl isethionate, and the Margarita Fragrance Oil. Stir to incorporate the ingredients.
Step 4: Next, add 630 grams dead sea salt and mix together until well incorporated. Then, add the colorant mixture. Again, mix to disperse the color completely.
Step 5: Finally, once the mixture comes to room temperature, pour it into your jars. Then, place a lid on top. Your foaming margarita salt scrubs are now ready to use!
