First, clean & sanitize your work area. Also, do the same with any of your packaging materials and utensils. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
Step 1: Begin by getting out your mixing bowls and scale. Then, use a scale to weigh out your whipped soap base. Set aside.
Step 2: In another bowl, weigh out your powdered sugar. Set this aside, we will come back to it.
Step 3: Now, you will need to get out your hand mixer. Add the fragrance oil and soap colorant to the bowl containing the whipped soap base. Turn it on and begin whipping the whipped soap base. Mix until the base begins to look like whipped frosting.
Step 4: Next, you will need the sugar you weighed out in step two. Use your spatula to fold the sugar into the whipped soap base mixture.
Step 5: We will now use the hand mixer and whip the base again. When necessary, use the spatula to clean the sides of the bowl. Make sure all ingredients have been fully incorporated.
Step 6: Stop mixing once your whipped soap has a frosting appearance. Let the frosting set up for about five minutes.
Step 7: Finally, use your mixing spoon to scoop the foaming bath icing into your 4 oz. clear PET jars. Then, place a white dome lid on top of each jar.
Your Mango Tangerine Bath Icing is now ready to use! Enjoy!
