Step 1: First, prepare the soap that will be added to the silicone muffin pan. To a mixing bowl, add 500 grams of the diamond clear melt and pour soap. Then, melt it in your microwave in 30 second intervals until it is in a fluid state.
Step 2: Now, to the melted soap, add 25 grams of Apple Happy Camper Candy Fragrance Oil. Also, add 3 grams of diamond dust mica pigment mixed with 15 grams of vegetable glycerin. Finally, add 10 grams of the neon green soap colorant. Mix to incorporate the ingredients.
Step 3: Pour the green soap into the silicone muffin soap mold. You will fill all six cavities. Allow the soap to setup before removing them from the molds. Set these soaps aside, we will come back to them in a later step.
Step 4: Next, we will prepare the soap for the cake pan. This soap will be used for the brim of the hats. So, weigh out 900 grams of the diamond clear melt and pour soap. Melt the soap in the microwave in 30 second intervals until it is completely melted.
Step 5: Then, add 45 grams of the Apple Happy Camper Candy Fragrance Oil, 18 grams of the vegetable glycerin. In addition, add 6 grams of diamond dust mica mixed with 20 grams of vegetable glycerin and 15 grams of neon green colorant. Stir well to incorporate all of the ingredients.
Step 6: Pour about ¾ of the melted soap your 9” x 13” pan. Spray the soap with rubbing alcohol to release any air bubbles. Allow the soap to setup.
Step 7: For the next step, you will need the bases you prepared earlier. Then, remelt the remaining green soap. Spray the setup green soap with rubbing alcohol and pour the remaining melted green soap directly on top of the previous layer. Then, quickly, place the muffin bases into the melted soap. Place the side of the bases with the largest diameter into the melted soap. Place them equally spaced throughout the pan. You need to place them so that there is about 1 inch all the way around each base. The ultimate goal will be to create the look of a hat. Allow the soap to setup completely.
Step 8: Now we will cut out our hats. So, using a skewer, we will cut the brims of our hats. So, using your skewer, create a circle all the way around each hat. You want to the brim of the hat to be about one inch all the way around.
Step 9: Remove each hat from the pan. Since you have a lot of excess soap that we will not use, you can remelt it and pour it into a mold.
Step 10: Next, we will prepare the black bands for each hat. So, in a small mixing bowl, add 75 grams of the diamond clear melt and pour soap. Then, melt the soap using the microwave.
Step 11: Once melted, add 3 grams of Apple Happy Camper Candy, 2 grams of vegetable glycerin, and 3 drops of the black oxide FUN Soap Colorant. Mix to incorporate the ingredients. Then, pour it into the square loaf mold. Spray the soap with rubbing alcohol and allow it to setup.
Step 12: Remove the soap from the mold. Then, cut it into long strips about ¼” wide and about 8 inches in length. You will need a total of six strips.
Step 13: Step 13: One at a time spray a black band with rubbing alcohol and wrap it around the hat, using the leftover black soap as a “glue” to hold the bands on the hats. Trim off any excess as needed. If needed, trim off any excess so that the bands fit perfectly around the hats. You will need to hold each one in place for about 30 seconds or so before moving to the next one. Repeat this process until all six hats have bands of black around them.
Step 14: Next, we will create the buckles for our soap hats. Weigh out and melt 20 grams of the yogurt melt and pour soap base. Then, add 10 drops of the neon yellow soap colorant along with 1 gram of the Apple Happy Camper Candy fragrance oil. Stir to completely mix the ingredients.
Step 15: Pour the about 20 grams of melted soap base into one of the cavities of the basic square mold. Spray the soap with rubbing alcohol and allow it to setup.
Step 16: Remove the soap from the mold and use a knife to cut the soap into six equally sized squares. Then, use a skewer to create a in the center of each square. You want the square to resemble a buckle.
Step 17: Finally, you will place your yellow buckles on each hat. So, spray the back of a yellow buckle with rubbing alcohol. Then, place the buckle on one of the hats. Once again, you will need to hold it in place for about 30 seconds or so. Then, repeat this process with each hat.
Your leprechaun hat soaps are now ready to use! Enjoy!
