Lavender Facial Mask Recipe
Total Recipe Weights:
96 grams Lavender Flowers Powder
224 grams Kaolin Clay Powder
24 drops Vitamin E Oil
12 grams Vegetable Glycerin
Step 1: First, you will need a medium bowl. Then, in your medium sized bowl, weigh out 96 grams of your lavender powder using your scale.
Step 2: To your bowl, add 224 grams of your kaolin clay powder. Now, mix the ingredients ensuring that everything is fully blended.
Step 3: Next, we will add some vitamin E oil. So, use a disposable pipette to add 24 drops of vitamin E oil.
Step 4: Once again, blend everything together.
Step 5: You are now finished with your powdered portion. Scoop your powder into your white two ounce jars. Finally, place a lid on each jar.
Step 6: Next, we will begin preparing our vegetable glycerin. Place 12 grams of vegetable glycerin in eight of your ½ ounce bottles. Then, place a ribbed top lid on each bottle.
Step 7: To use your lavender face mask you will need a small mixing bowl. To prepare your mask add one tablespoon of powder, two tablespoons of water, and about 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable glycerin. Mix well. Note: We chose to package the powder and glycerin separately. By creating the mask without the water you will not need to add a preservative. This will allow you to prepare a quick product for your customers. Each two ounce jar will create approximately 4 facial masks.
Step 8: Simply, apply a thin layer of the mask to your face. Allow the lavender mask to harden. Then, rinse with warm water.
