Prep Your work area, including cleaning and sanitizing work area and all of your utensils. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe. Fill your bullet bottle with alcohol and place a sprayer on top.

Step 1:  Place umber colored mica in a small dish with 3 grams vegetable glycerin.  Mix until blended into a thin paste. Set aside.  Also, prepare a yellow ocher color.  Place a small amount of the yellow ocher mica in a small mixing bowl.  To the bowl, add 3 grams of vegetable glycerin and stir to create a paste.

Step 2:  Cut up 115 grams of Honey Melt and Pour Soap into small pieces and place it in a microwave safe bowl.  Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals until it’s completely melted.  Add small amounts of the umber colored mica pigment paste until desired color is obtained.  Add 5 grams Crystal Amber Fragrance Oil and 5 grams Vanilla White Stabilizer.  Stir gently to prevent air bubbles.

Step 3:  Use the umber colored soap and a pipette to fill/partially fill the crystal molds.  Start with the small crystal molds.  Fill several of these cavities completely.  Next, fill the medium sized crystal molds halfway and several to the top.  Finally, fill the large crystal molds about halfway. Spray with alcohol to eliminate air bubbles.  Allow them to set up.  Set aside.

Step 4:  Cut up 85 grams of honey melt and pour soap base into small pieces and place it in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals until it’s completely melted.  Add small amounts of the yellow ocher paste until desired color is obtained.  Add 4 grams Crystal Amber Fragrance Oil and 4 grams Vanilla White Stabilizer.  Stir gently to prevent air bubbles.

Step 5:  Spray the previous layer of each crystal you prepared earlier with alcohol.  Use the yellow ochre colored soap and a pipette to fill/partially fill the crystal molds.  Start with the small crystal molds.  Fill several of these crystals.  Next, fill the medium sized crystal molds to the top and top off the other crystals that we half full.  Finally, fill the large crystal molds the remaining way.   Spray with alcohol to eliminate air bubbles.  Set aside.

Step 6:  Cut up 125 grams shea butter melt and pour soap into small pieces and place it in a microwave safe bowl.  Microwave in 30 second intervals until it’s completely melted.   Add 40 drops of Black Oxide Fun Soap Colorant.  Stir until well blended.  Add 6 grams Crystal Amber Fragrance Oil and 6 grams Vanilla White Stabilizer.  Stir gently.

Step 7:  Pour the grey soap into the 3 soap molds, dividing it equally between the three cavities of mold.  Spray the top with alcohol.

Step 8:  Remove the crystals from the molds.

Step 9:  Cut up 125 grams shea butter melt and pour soap into small pieces and place it in a microwave safe bowl.  Microwave in 30 second intervals until it’s completely melted.  Add 6 grams Crystal Amber Fragrance Oil and 6 grams Vanilla White Stabilizer.  Stir gently.

Step 10:  Spray the surface of the grey soap then pour the white colored soap into the 3 soap molds on top of the grey layer, dividing the base equally between the three cavities.  Spray the top with alcohol.  Sporadically place(do not fill the entire area) some small crystals in the white soap.

Step 11:  Cut up 90 grams SLS free glycerin melt and pour soap into small pieces and place it in a microwave safe bowl.  Microwave in 30 second intervals until it’s completely melted.

Step 12:  Spray the white soap surface with alcohol.  Pour a very thin layer of SLS free MP soap base on top of the white layer and place crystals on top.  Fill in as many crystals as desired.

Step 13:  Spray the surface with alcohol.  Use a pipette to fill in around all the crystals with additional clear soap without overfilling the soap mold.  Spray the surface with alcohol and allow the soap to set up.

Enjoy your beautiful Geode Soap!
