Step 1: First, prepare the dry ingredients. In a deep mixing bowl add the SLSA, baking soda, cream of tartar, and cornstarch. Mix the ingredients together. Use your hands to break any clumps.
Step 2: Next, prepare your wet ingredients. In a small mixing bowl, add the vegetable glycerin, avocado oil, and Beverly Hills Glam Fragrance Oil. Mix the ingredients together.
Step 3: Now, add the wet ingredients to the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Once again, mix to blend the ingredients together. It is easiest to use your hands for this step. You are looking for a dough consistency. If your dough is too crumbly, add a bit more vegetable glycerin. You want to add about a tablespoon at a time until you have the proper consistency. If you add too much, your bubble bars will not setup properly.
Step 4: At this time, we will begin separating the dough. In a mixing bowl, add about 2 ounces of the white bubble bar dough. Set this portion aside, it will remain white. Divide the remaining dough into 5 equal portions. Add the color to each bowl as listed below and mix.
Bowl 1: 2 drops Neon Pink FUN Soap Colorant
Bowl 2: 4 drops Neon Pink FUN Soap Colorant
Bowl 3: 6 drops Neon Pink FUN Soap Colorant
Bowl 4: 8 drops Neon Pink FUN Soap Colorant
Bowl 5: 10 drops Neon Pink FUN Soap Colorant
Step 5: Next, place a stick in each cavity of the stacking stars mold.
Step 6: Now, we will begin filling the mold. Sprinkle each cavity with white dough.
Step 7: At this time, you will need the pink dough. Each cavity will have five stars. We will start with the first cavity. Fill the first star with the lightest pink. As you are filling periodically sprinkle some of the white dough. Fill the second star with the next lightest color. Once again, sprinkle the white dough periodically as you are filling. Continue by filling the next star with the next lightest color. Repeat this process until you have filled the cavity completely.
Step 8: Repeat step 7 until each cavity is filled.
Step 9: Allow the bubble bars to setup overnight before removing them from the mold. Place them on wax paper or a mat and allow them to finish setting up. Then, they are ready to use. This can take about 72 hours depending on the humidity of your environment. To use a bubble bar simply run it under warm bathwater.
