Step 5: Using a stick blender, blend the mixture to trace. You are looking for a pudding like consistency.
Step 6: With the crock pot on a low setting, cover and allow it to cook for about two hours. You will need to stir the mixture periodically.
Step 7: You will know it is ready when you have a mashed potato consistency.
Once your soap is ready place it in the mold.
Step 8: When the soap has setup, remove it from the molds and break it into chunks.
Note: This is a four pound batch. You will have more soap than enough soap for this recipe. However, you can save the remaining soap. This makes it easy to have the soap readily available for future batches.
Step 9: In a mixing bowl, add and mix 525 grams of the baked baking soda and 288 grams borax. Use your hands to break up any clumps.
Step 10: In a pot, boil 1,760 grams of distilled water. Now, reduce the heat to medium and add 312 grams of the hot process soap. Stir constantly and slowly until the soap has melted. Please Note: This recipe will make concentrated laundry soap. If you want it to be a liquid laundry detergent, you will need to increase the amount of boiling water.
Step 11: Once the soap is melted, turn the stove off. Slowly add the borax and baking soda mixture. Stir until the all of the powder has dissolved.
Step 12: Allow to cool to about 140 degrees. Add 172 grams of NG Vanilla Lavender Type Fragrance Oil. Stir to incorporate.
Step 13: Add 880 grams hot water. Again, stir to incorporate.
Step 14: You will notice the mixture will begin to separate after a few hours. Stick blend to incorporate the ingredients back together. You might need to repeat this step a couple more times over the next several hours.
Step 15: Finally, place the detergent into your natural jars and place the pink lid on top. Use the decorative fabric to cut a round shape that will fit the top of the jar. Using the twine, tie a bow to hold the fabric in place.
Step 16: Your Delicate Laundry Soap is now ready to use! Use about 2 tablespoons to ¼ of a cup of the concentrated laundry soap.
