This recipe is best prepared in non-humid climates.
Prior to starting, clean and sanitize your work area as well as all of your packaging materials. We suggest wearing gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe. Also, prepare your spray bottle filled with witch hazel.
Step 1: In order to create this recipe, you will need two mixing bowls. One of your bowls will be used to weigh out dry ingredients, while the second one will be used for your liquid ingredients.
Step 2: You will start by weighing out your dry ingredients and adding them to a deep mixing bowl. So, weigh out citric acid, Bentonite clay, both types of micas, and baking soda. In addition, add both the powdered and cut and sifted dandelion herb. Mix everything together thoroughly. Also, as you are mixing, break up any clumps you find. Set this bowl aside, we will come back to it.
Step 3: In your second bowl, weigh out the wet ingredients. So, we will add the meadowfoam seed oil, the yellow soap colorant, and Tiare Flowers Fragrance Oil.
Step 4: Add your wet ingredients to the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Again, use your hands to mix everything together. Keep mixing until you are confident that you have everything completely mixed.
Step 5: Now, you should begin spraying the mixture with witch hazel. You will once again use your hands to mix as you are misting the ingredients.
Step 6: Lastly, we will add the bath bomb mixture to our bath bombs molds. We want to pack the mold tightly. Pack each half tightly. Then, fill the second half of the mold.
Step 7: Next, you will need the two halves of your bath bomb. Then, we will mist each half lightly witch hazel. Finally, we will press the two halves together. We will continue filling the remaining bath bomb molds and pressing them together.
Step 8: Once our bath bombs have setup, your bath bombs can stay in the mold, making packaging a breeze. Another option is to remove them from the molds and package them using another method.
To use one of your dandelion bath bombs, place it in your bath water.
