Total Recipe Amounts:
113 grams Palm Oil
136 grams Shea Butter
80 grams Avocado Oil
50 grams Fractionated Coconut Oil
60 grams Silky Emulsifying Wax
12 grams Beeswax
20 grams Castor Oil
20 grams Cranberry Balsam Fragrance Oil
5 grams Optiphen preservative
5 grams Vitamin E Oil
2 grams Titanium Dioxide
2 grams Cranberry Fruit Powder
5 grams Spirulina Powder
5 drops Black Oxide FUN Soap Colorant
5 grams Tomato Red FUN Soap Colorant
740 grams white granulated sugar
Step 1:  First, weigh out and melt the avocado oil, palm oil, shea butter, silky emulsifying wax, beeswax, and castor oil.
Step 2:  While you are waiting for the oil and butters to melt, prepare the sugar.  In a deep mixing bowl, weigh out the sugar and break up any clumps in the sugar.
Step 3:  Prepare the colorant.  In a small bowl, weigh out the tomato red colorant.  To this bowl, add 2 grams of the cranberry fruit powder.  In a second small bowl, add the titanium dioxide and mix it with a small amount of vegetable glycerin.  Mix it together to form a paste.  In a third bowl, add the spirulina powder and black oxide.  Mix the contents of this bowl with some of the vegetable glycerin.  Set these aside for the moment.
Step 4:  Once your oils have melted, remove them from the heat.  Allow temperature of the oils to reach 120F.  At this point, add optiphen preservative, vitamin E oil, and Cranberry Balsam Fragrance Oil.  Stir.
Step 5:  Pour this mixture to the bowl containing the sugar.  Stir to completely blend the mixture.
Step 6:  Separate the mixture into three equal portions.
Step 7:  At this time, we will color the scrub.  To the first bowl, add the titanium dioxide.  Stir.  To the second bowl, add the spirulina mixture.  Stir.  To the third bowl, add the tomato red mixture.  Stir.
Step 8:  Allow the scrub to drop to room temperature.  Layer the scrub in the jar.  Begin with the green scrub.  Fill each jar ⅓ of the way full.  Then, add the white scrub.  Fill the jar another ⅓ full.  Next, fill the rest of the jar with the red scrub.
Step 9:  Place a lid on each jar.
