I WANTED to like this FO. I really did. All I smelled was toasted almond, like a biscotti (which really is not bad, but not what I wanted. I don’t smell cherry AT ALL). I used my regular recipe, my CP recipe that is tried and true. As SOON as I mixed the FO into the batter, it turned yellow. It discolored all of my colorants and not a pleasant color. The colors did not revive. Upon cutting, I was even more disappointed. The FO had separated and was weeping out. It left brown spots :-/ I have been soaping for a while and have over 115 batches under my belt, so I know more or less how things work and what is normal. I was so disappointed!!

Almond-Cherry, toasted

To me it smells like nutty toasted almonds with a bit of cherry underneath, but not overly sweet. I'm not really a fan of almond scents, but it is quite pleasant. My friends who like almond or cherry/almond say they like it.

I tried it in a couple of different formulas, and it is strong in lotion. Use a very small amount. Start at 0.2% or lower. 0.4% was too much.
