Cold Process Soap Colorants For Red Soap:
5 grams FUN Soap Colorant Tomato Red
5 grams FUN Soap Colorant Deep
Cold Process Soap Colorants For White Soap:
12 grams Titanium Dioxide
(mixed with a small amount of your soaping oils)
Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, a face mask, safety glasses, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.

Please Note:  Before starting this recipe, place your champagne into a pot on the stove top and boil it for 30-40 minutes stirring periodically.  Then, weigh out 129 grams of the champagne. Carefully pour the champagne into ice cube trays. Allow them to freeze overnight. When you are ready to soap, the frozen champagne is used as half of the water portion of the water/lye solution. 
Caution:  There is a chance that when mixing the frozen champagne and water with the lye, a volcanic effect may take place.  This is why it is recommended that you mix the frozen champagne/water with the lye in a deep mixing bowl in the sink. 
Please Note:  You should use a dry champagne.  If your champagne has a high sugar content, it will speed up gel. This will cause your soap batter to bubble up and out of the mold.   You will want to watch for this as well as take proper precautions at safe guarding the surface your mold is sitting on. 
Step 1: Start by preparing your lye solution.  Allow it to cool to room temperature.  Note: Always add the sodium hydroxide to your water.  Never add your water to the sodium hydroxide.
Step 2: While you are waiting for your lye water to cool down, prepare your oils.  Weigh out and melt your soaping oils.  Allow the oils to come to room temperature.
Step 3:  While waiting for the lye water and oils to cool to room temperature, prepare your colorants for the CP soap.  You will need to prepare colorants for both the white and red soap batter as listed above.
Step 4:  Once both the lye solution and the oils have dropped to room temperature, pour the lye solution into the bowl of soaping oils and use a stick blender to emulsify the soap batter.  
Step 5:  Then, add the Champagne Pomegranate Fragrance Oil.  Once again, stick blend to incorporate the fragrance oil.
Step 6: At this time, separate your batter.  You will need two divide it equally in two bowls.
Step 7:  Next, add the titanium dioxide mixture to one bowl and stick blend to incorporate the colorant.  Then, add the red-purple colorant to the second bowl. Once again, stick blend to mix the colorant thoroughly.
Step 8:  Now, place the white bowl in front of you.  Pour small amounts of the red soap batter into the white bowl in various places throughout the bowl.  Continue pouring until all of the red soap batter is in the bowl with the white soap batter.
Step 9:  Place your rubber spatula in the bowl and move it in a circular motion to swirl your soap batter until you are happy with your swirls.  
Step 10:  Pour the soap batter into the soap mold.
Step 11:  After 24-48 hours you can remove the soap from the mold.  Slice your soap.  Allow the soap to cure for 4-6 weeks before using.
