Step
1: Place witch hazel in
a spray bottle. Set aside.
Step
2: Get out 2 bowls for mixing; 1 for dry ingredients, and 1 for wet ingredients.
Step
3: In your first bowl
weigh out and mix
the following dry ingredients: citric
acid, baking soda,
bentonite clay, and lavender
flower powder.
Step
4: Now, in your wet ingredient bowl, weigh out and mix the
castor oil, olive oil, lavender sage fragrance oil, and Kelly Green fun soap
colorant.
Step
5: Next, slowly add the wet
ingredients bowl to
the dry ingredients bowl. Mix well.
Step
6: Once the mixture is
well blended, slowly spray it with witch hazel. Then, mix again and continue spritzing with witch hazel
until the mixture feels like crumbly dough in your hands. Please be very
careful not to spray too much witch hazel into your mixture or it will activate
the citric acid.
Step 7: Next, pull one side
of each of the (3) fillable ornaments. Place the ornaments on a flat surface. In each one place one (or two if they are
smaller) whole rose bud(s) centered in the opening.
Then, sprinkle lavender flowers (whole) around the rose(s).
Step 8: Taking some of the
bath bomb mixture; carefully, press the mixture into the half of your fillable ornament that contains the
herbs and press firmly.
Step
9: Then, fill the other
half of the ornament.
Step 10: Spritz both halves of the
ornaments, then attach ornament halves together.
Step
11: Allow bath bombs to
set up, then release them slowly from the mold.
Your
lavender sage bath bombs are now ready to use.
