Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe. In addition, prepare a spray bottle filled with witch hazel.
Step 1: You will need a total of four mixing bowls. Two bowls will be used for your dry ingredients and two will be used for your wet ingredients.
Step 2: First we will prepare our dry ingredients. In one mixing bowl add 256 grams of citric acid, 83 grams of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, 560 grams of baking soda, and 3 grams papaya leaf powder. In the second bowl, add the same ingredients, in the same amounts. Set these two bowls aside while we prepare our wet ingredients.
Step 3: Now, in your two empty bowls, place 9 grams meadowfoam seed Oil in each. Also, add 8 grams of Papaya Guava Mango Fragrance Oil to each bowl. Next, one of your bowls will need the yellow color soap colorant mixture. To this bowl add 9 grams neon yellow FUN Soap Colorant and 2 grams Eye Poke Orange FUN Soap Colorant. To the second bowl, add 10 grams Jailhouse Red FUN Soap Colorant and 3 grams Neon Red FUN Soap Colorant.
Step 4: Begin with the bowl with the yellow colorant. Slowly add the wet ingredients of this bowl to one of the dry ingredients bowls. Then, begin mixing the ingredients together so that they are completely incorporated and the color is evenly mixed.
Step 5: Slowly spray that mixture with witch hazel, mix mixture, and continue spritzing with witch hazel until the mixture feels like crumbly dough in your hands. However, be careful not to spray the mixture too much. Over spraying the mixture will cause the bath bomb ingredients to activate and your bath bomb will not stay together.
Step 6: Press the yellow mixture into half of your fillable ornament and press firmly.
Step 7: Next, slowly add the orange-red colored bowl of wet ingredients to the remaining bowl containing dry ingredients. Then, mix your ingredients fully and completely.
Step 8: Slowly spray that mixture with witch hazel, mix mixture, and continue spritzing with witch hazel until the mixture feels like crumbly dough in your hands. Again, be careful not to overspray.
Step 9: Press the red orange colored mixture into the other half of your fillable ornament and press firmly.
Step 10: Spritz both halves of the ornaments lightly with witch hazel, then attach ornament halves together.
Step 11: Once the bath bombs have setup, remove them from the molds.
Step 12: Use your bubbling bath bombs in the bathtub. They will create all kinds of bubbly fizzy fun!!
