Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, a face mask, safety glasses, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
Step 1: Prepare your lye solution. Allow the temperature to drop to room temperature.
Step 2: Prepare your soaping oils. Once you have weighed them out and melted them, allow the temperature of your oils to drop to room temperature.
Step 3: While you are waiting, prepare the soap colorants as listed above. Also, prepare the blueberry embeds using melt and pour soap.
Step 4: Once both the lye solution and soaping oils are at room temperature, combine them and stick blend to emulsify them. Add the Blueberry Fragrance Oil. Once again, stick blend to incorporate the scent.
Step 5: Next, you will need an empty bowl. To this bowl, add 113 grams of your soap batter.
Step 6: Now, color your soap batter. To the larger portion of soap batter, add the yellow and brown colorant that you prepared. Stick blend to incorporate the colorant.
Step 7: To the smaller portion of batter, add the blueberry colorant. Once again, stick blend to incorporate the color.
Step 8: Place the larger bowl in front of you. Then, place small dollops of the blueberry colored soap batter throughout the bowl until you have used all of the batter. Use a spatula to swirl the soap.
Step 9: Pour the soap batter into the loaf mold, heaping it on top so that it looks like a loaf of bread.
Step 10: Finally, place blueberries on top of the soap loaf.
Step 11: After 24-48 hours, remove the soap from the mold. Slice the soap and allow it to cure before using.
