Balsam and Cedar Candle Recipe

Hot Glue Gun
Hot Glue
Mixing Spoon
16 oz Apothecary Jar
Christmas Tree Cookie Cutter
9”x13” pan (lined with wax paper)
 
Step 1:  First, weigh out and melt 2 ounces of beeswax.  Add 3 drops of the green candle dye.
 
Step 2:  Once melted, add 0.2 ounces Balsam and Cedar Fragrance Oil.  Stir to blend the ingredients.
 
Step 3:  Pour the melted wax onto the pan lined with wax paper.  
 
Step 4:  When the wax has setup, but is still warm to the touch, use the cookie cutter to create 3 trees.
 
Step 5:  Place your trees in the candle jar.  You will need to press them against the glass completely.
 
Step 6:  Add two zinc core wicks to the center of your jar using hot glue.
 
Step 7:  Melt 16 ounces of gel wax.  Once melted, add 1.6 ounces of the Balsam and Cedar Fragrance Oil.  Stir.
 
Step 8:  Allow the wax to cool and pour it into the jar.
 
Step 9:  Once your wax has setup, trim the wicks.  Allow your candle to cure before burning.
