Clean and sanitize your workstation and all of your packaging materials and utensils. It is suggested that you wear gloves, an apron, gloves, a face mask, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
Step 1: Get your clamshell containers, and have them ready in the area that you will be doing the filling.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl, weigh out 340 grams of sugar and set aside.
Step 3: Use a clean, microwave safe bowl to weigh out the melt and pour soap. Use 30 second intervals in the microwave to melt the soap and gently stir in between each bout. Once all the soap is in a melted state, you can proceed.
Step 4: Next, add 3 drops of Red Da Bomb Soap Dye and 6 grams of Almond Fragrance Oil
to your melted soap. Incorporate these ingredients thoroughly.
Step 5: Then, add 51 grams of fractionated coconut oil, 47 grams of apricot kernel oil, and 14 grams of sweet almond oil to the mp soap mixture.
Step 6: Get ready to move quick! Pour the previously weighed sugar into your soap mixture. You will use your gloved hands to fold the sugar into the mixture. Be sure to mix all of the ingredients together well.
Step 7: Finally, you will scoop the mixture into the clamshell containers. Use your hands to work the scrub into each clamshell opening. Once all 6 of the cavities are filled, place more of the mixture on top and flatten it down. Then, repeat this process for the remaining clamshells.
Step 8: Once your clamshell containers are filled, close the lids and allow them to fully set up.
Your homemade sugar scrub is now ready to use!
